We are a clinic recognized with the Silver level of Cat Friendly Clinic by ISFM. Here’s what that means:

In terms of infrastructure, we have a waiting room with a separate area for cats, featuring elevated surfaces for placing their carriers, as cats tend to get more stressed when they are on the floor. This room is permanently equipped with a facial pheromone diffuser.

We also have an exclusive consultation room for cats, fully equipped as required by the ISFM program. The room is spacious to allow the cat to move around freely, facilitating its exploratory behavior, which helps reduce stress. Another facial pheromone diffuser is also permanently placed in this feline consultation room.

Regarding the Hospitalization Room, we ensure the absence of dog odors, which cats may perceive as a threat, by keeping them separated from the dogs.

We have a team member who acts as the “Cat Advocate,” in our case a veterinarian. This person ensures that the program is strictly followed. The rest of the team is also sensitive to cats and aware of the importance of handling them respectfully.

We offer specific informational brochures for cat owners, with advice on litter box use, introducing a new cat into the household, transporting cats to the vet, administering pills to cats, etc.

In recent years, our clinic has seen an increase in feline medicine, which is why this accreditation is so important to us. We will continue working and investing in specialized training in this field to keep offering a professional and high-quality service for our feline patients.
